In a waking dream
Jan. 1st, 2017 01:08 pmYasmeen prowled the edges of the sorry gathering of hostages or hostiles. She drank nothing but coffee that she made herself and ate only enough of Snow's pie to soak up the remnants of her celebratory drinks with Hook. On the best of nights she disliked dulling her wits in strange company and this was nothing if not strange.
Near to dawn, she slipped outside again, hungry for the night air and the quiet. She had not been out long before another figure joined her in the cool and still of the night. Another silhouette almost as familiar to her as her Lady's.
Quick and quiet, she slinked through shadow to appear beside him as though she had been there all along. "No false moves, or I'll have you at knife-point." Which served as a warning if he didn't recognize her, and an intimate threat and invitation if he did.
